Potato Please is a darkly comic Cold War job simulator about one sacred duty: keep the army fed. You start by peeling potatoes by hand and tossing them into the water, one at a time, then gradually turn the grind into a system with bulk collection and machines doing more of the work. It's a first-person incremental with a dystopian sense of humor and a very satisfying peel.
The pleasure is watching manual drudgery become a humming operation, with the deadpan propaganda framing doing a lot of comedic heavy lifting. Full controller support, Windows-only.
Go in with measured expectations: it's on the short side, the repetition can wear on your wrist, and launch brought bugs and late-game slowdowns that early hotfixes have been working through. Its originality has also been publicly questioned through comparisons with another potato-peeling game; the studio denies copying, and the dispute remains unresolved.
